Why Stable Labels?

Despite having had my DIY stables for over a decade, I had yet to find a door plaque that I really liked, so my stable doors remained bare. Eventually I decided that if I couldn't buy the plaques I wanted, I'd just have to make them myself.

Once I'd made my plaques, I started thinking about other items I wanted that I couldn't find and began to make those too. I really loved the process of making them, loved having them, and found them very useful. I wanted other people to use them and love them too. And so Stable Labels began.

Over the last few years, as my knowledge, skills and experience of crafting has grown, so has my scope of crafts - as well as my original vinyl cutter and presses, I now have a UV printer, laser cutter, hot stamp, and 3D printers. There are many useful things I can now make for you!

I've been involved with horses for over 35 years, in various different roles. I've had horses on part livery, working livery and DIY livery, at small private yards, busy riding schools, and big livery yards. I've been a sharer, an owner and a loaner. For the last few years, I've even been working with horses. I've experienced equestrian life through many perspectives, and that's given me a good insight into some of the products that may help make everyone's life a little bit easier. Or at least shinier.

I have listed only a handful of products here, with a handful of colours, but I have also been busy making various other items, both for my own use and for commissions. Band Brand

As an off-shoot from Stable Labels, I also offer custom merchandise, primarily aimed at underground/DIY punk bands, who are often struggling to finance touring, where income from small merchandise such as stickers and decals can help keep the van on the road for another day.
