Why Stable Labels?

Despite having been in my current rented stables for over 10 years, I had yet to find a stable plaque that I really liked, so my stable doors remained bare. Eventually I decided that if I couldn't buy the plaques I wanted, I'd just have to make them myself.

Once I'd made my plaques, not wanting to waste the equipment I'd invested in, I starting thinking about other items I wanted that I couldn't find, and began to make those too.

I really loved the process of making them, loved having them, and found them very useful. I wanted other people to use them and love them too. And so Stable Labels began.

I'm not aiming to be a billionaire from this business, I'm happy enough just to cover my costs. What I do want is to give people fun, pretty, but ultimately useful products.

I've been involved with horses for over 35 years, in various different roles. I've had horses on part livery, working livery and DIY livery. I've had horses on small 4-horse private yards, riding schools, and on big 60+ horse livery yards. I've been a sharer, an owner and a loaner. For the last few years, I've even been working with horses.

I've experienced equestrian life through many perspectives, and think that's given me a good insight into some products that may help make everyone's life a little bit easier. Or at least shinier.

BioThane

BioThane is a coated webbing that can be used in a similar way to leather. It is durable, waterproof, easy-to-clean and comes in many colours.

Custom Items and colours

I have listed only a handful of products here, with a handful of colours, but I have also been busy making various other items from BioThane/vinyl for my own ponies.
