For best results, apply to a smooth, hard surface such as plastic, without any ridges or texture. The surface should be clean and dry before application. If there is dirt on the surface, the letter will stick to the dirt, and when the dirt falls off, so will your letter! The sticker will also adhere to wooden tools, but it’s even more important that the surface be very clean before application, and if the stickered area is subject to a lot of wear and tear, the sticker may start to come away from the tool over time.
If the stickers are applied correctly, to a suitable surface, they should last through any weather, for many years.
Stickers are supplied with transfer tape to help you make a perfectly aligned application.
Tool stickers are approximately 1” high and 4” wide for an an average 7 letter name. Maximum width of name will be 5”, so for long names the font size may be reduced slightly. If you want to maintain the 1” size for a longer name, please order two stickers (one for each half of the name) and make a note of your request in the customisation form that appears.
